When asked about KIA's winning wish... All Chairman Chung Eui-sun's special consideration for the business camp

All the players of the Kia Tigers, the 2024 professional baseball champion, will go on overseas training in business class. It is an unprecedented move in the baseball community.

The manager's small words, which came to mind immediately after winning the championship, are all the more eye-catching because they are the beautiful results of Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun's great consideration.먹튀검증

KIA will depart for the United States on the 22nd, 23rd and 2nd and run spring camps at the Great Park Baseball Complex and Okinawa Kin Stadium in Irvine from January 25 to March 5.

Sixty players, including 22 coaching staff and 38 players, will participate in the spring camp. The team consists of 18 pitchers, three catchers, 10 infielders, and seven outfielders. Among the rookie players in 2025, pitcher Kim Tae-hyung is the only one on the list.

In particular, all the players and staff use business seats when boarding round-trip flights to the U.S. with the support of Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun. A club official said, "We expect this support to be of great help in minimizing fatigue caused by long-distance travel and adapting quickly to the time difference."

In fact, the issue had already been decided quite early. "Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun and Kia Tigers owner asked Lee Bum-ho to win the championship right after winning the championship," a baseball official who is well aware of the KIA situation said. "Then, Lee Bum-ho expressed his wish to provide support for the team, including the camp transfer issue, and I understand that the owner Chung Eui-sun readily accepted the request and provided great support."

An official from KIA explained, "In fact, the exact situation is between the two of you, so we don't know, but it is true that owner Chung Eui-sun has supported all the players to use business seats for the team that achieved great results by winning the championship."

Chung Eui-sun, the owner of the team, has provided various support for the KIA team from the past. Chung's generous support is behind the continuous improvement of the team's infrastructure, including the environment at Gwangju KIA Champions Field, which boasts state-of-the-art facilities in Korea.

Nevertheless, officials who are well aware of the group's situation suggest that owner Chung has been silently supporting the fact that it is not welcome to be revealed to the full.

In fact, Chung has led the team to become the world's best archery powerhouse by serving as the president of the Korea Archery Association for six consecutive years. Nevertheless, he has always provided generous support while putting the athletes' achievements to the forefront.

Chung seemed to want more attention from the entire team and its executives and staff as well as the team's victory this time. He also seems to have enthusiastically supported the Kia team once again with actions, not words.

In addition to the business class, the KIA team will comfortably focus on the first spring camp by using the group's facilities and luxury hotels in Irvine, where Kia Motors' U.S. subsidiary is located.

Starting from January 25, the team will undergo physical, technical and tactical training under the "three-day training, one-day rest" system in Irvine, the U.S. Afterwards, they will depart from the U.S. on February 18 and arrive in Incheon on February 19, before moving to Okinawa, Japan on February 20 and starting a full-fledged game at Kin Stadium from March 21 to March 4.

The team plans to boost its sense of practice starting with a practice game against NPB Hiroshima Toyokaf on February 22, and will then return home after four practice games with KBO league teams.
